Installing Service Drops

Firefly Fiber Broadband plans on building over a large rural footprint. After fiber construction along powerlines is complete, fiber service drops then need to be run to each new home. Pre-registering helps Firefly coordinate drop construction so that the pre-registered customers are installed first

Until a home has a drop from the main fiber line, a customer's home will remain as unserviceable in our system. Pre-registration helps Firefly Fiber Broadband prioritize new customers for drop installations.

Firefly Fiber Broadband is pleased to begin construction in Appomattox, Martins Store, and Zions Crossroads. If you are a CVEC member and live in the service areas (see below), then please fill out a pre-registration survey to help us get fiber broadband to your home faster.

Customers that pre-registered already do not need to pre-register again.

Although every CVEC customer will eventually have Firefly Fiber Broadband availability, it is important to note that some houses may take longer to reach. If you're unsure of your eligibility or timeframe, please call us at 1 (833) 473-3591.
